Creating Pathways Toward Educational Success is for Kanesatake secondary school students experiencing academic difficulties. The program introduces a comprehensive approach that endeavors to meet the personal, physical (dietary), and social needs of youth. Students receive, among other things, academic support through a virtual tutoring environment designed specifically for Aboriginal students. Other activities are available depending on individual needs. These activities aim to develop time management, conflict resolution, and career planning skills. In addition to the two teachers in charge of assisting students, a coordinator, student advisor, and tutor/mentor are involved in the project.
